Women in Technology and Science is an active forum for women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. On International Women’s Day (March 2012) WITS launched the video “Inspiring Interviews.” Through interviews with leading women scientists, this resource aims to encourage girls and young women to consider STEM as a career. Also in 2011, Lab Coats and Lace, a biography of Irish women scientists and technologists was launched in Northern Ireland, having been distributed across post-primary schools in the Republic of Ireland in 2008.
