Knowledge and Practice was established in 1997 on the basis of cooperation between the owners of KiK Publishing House, Witold Konieczny and Roman Kruszewski, and the German VNR publishing company "Verlag Norman Rentrop", Mr. Norman Rentrop. The idea of ​​the company's creators was to create a publishing house for professionals and specialists who, thanks to professional publications, will support readers in the practical application of regulations. The first publication was "Poradnik Podatnika", which from the very beginning turned out to be a publishing success and for a long time remained a bestseller, followed by new titles devoted to labor law and VAT, for which tens of thousands of specialists throughout Poland reached.
