For the year ended February 1, 1997 the Company had, on a pro forma basis, net sales of $422.6 million. As of February 1, 1997, the Company operated 461 stores and, during its peak selling season in 1996 from October through December, the Company also operated 376 holiday stores and seasonal kiosks.
