Generally, wayfinding is difficult, and applications like Google Maps are only partially solving this problem. It’s still hard for people to get around with ease, as wayfinding hasn’t been fully optimized. Wayfinding needs to be optimized for all users and augmented reality technology is the next step towards optimization. We’re creating a platform for events, campuses, airports and shops, which will allow users to get around these places, through augmented reality. We’re doing this through an integration that users will be able to navigate to destinations in AR on, being guided by waypoints in an interactive way.
