Vermont Public Radio (VPR) is a statewide public radio network in Vermont that offers news, information, and music. It is a source for Vermont News and NPR News, and the home of VPR Classical, Vermont’s 24-hour classical music network. Listeners are regularly heard on VPR, via call-in conversations on the daily noon news magazine Vermont Edition. The majority of VPR’s funding comes from local community support. Vermont Public Radio was launched in 1977 and its operations are based in Colchester, Vermont.
