Founded in 1993, VLG specializes in representing high potential technology companies from before their creation through their public offering or acquisition and beyond. They have helped hundreds of prominent technology companies get started, funded and grow and then go public or be acquired. Among these companies are Yahoo!; Cerent (sold to Cisco in 1999 for $7 Billion); Hotmail, WebTV, LinkExchange and Vxtreme (sold to Microsoft in the late 1990s); and Rosetta Inpharmatics (sold to Merck in 2001 for $540 Million).
