Vitar Software International Ltd was formed in February 2010 by Peter Plant, CEO. The company has developed an award winning, cloud-based enterprise software application called “Vitar Visitor Manager”. A single instance, multi-tenant, multi-lingual webbased SaaS solution. Pricing is based on a pay-as-you-go, visit credits system. The Vitar solution includes Vitar Express self check-in for touch screen. Paying customers include Ford Motor Company, Smurfitt Kappa and Imperial Tobacco. As pioneers in cloud-based visitor management, the Vitar VM product was designed from a clean sheet of paper to include the best parts of both paperbased and locally installed electronic solutions, with a SaaS application in mind. It is hosted on the Amazon EC2 platform.
