Vision Information Logistics was formed in 1995 in Detroit , Michigan with the intended purpose of providing outsourced Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) services to various home entertainment companies. With time, the management team at Vision Information Logistics grew as the company began to seek out talented individuals with extensive experience and expertise in the fields of information technology, product distribution, retail operations, merchandising, sales and marketing. Their efforts proved successful in 2000 when VIL partnered with two of the largest music vendors in the industry to completely rewrite a more efficient, cost effective software solution for sales and distribution. In the years since, VIL has grown into an international company with offices in Detroit. This has allowed our clients to expand and streamline their services to meet their customer's needs.
