Henri Fernandez, former embedded video specialist at Sony, created VIMS with the aim of putting his technological know-how at the service of the medical world and being able to film inside the human body without big incision, scar and reducing post-operative trauma. Henri Fernandez has developed the first monobloc endoscopic camera operating without sterilization, without development, thanks to the use of a sterile disposable sheath and also thanks to the electronics embedded in the endoscope. The company was then able to extend its product to new specialties and position itself on the arthroscopy market, offering even broader perspectives. Thanks to this range and with 70% market share in clinics in France, the company is now expanding internationally.
