Valley Health Team main purpose as a Federally Qualified Health Center is to enhance the provision of primary care services in underserved urban and rural communities. Back in 1973, concerned citizens from Kerman, San Joaquin, and surrounding communities worked together to form an organization that could bring quality healthcare to this underserved region. The dream was realized when our first primary care center opened in the town of San Joaquin to meet the medical needs of the residents of the rural western Fresno County area.
