Metaalbewerkingsbedrijf J. van Gestel bv was founded in 1974 by the former owner J. van Gestel. As soon as the company grew out of the village blacksmith to a modern metal processing. Currently, eighteen persons in the service and industrial buildings comprise a total area of 1,600 square meters, adjacent to the Strijbeekse heath. in 2000, J. van Gestel sold the company to M & L Ralton holding bv . This includes the sister company Ralton Engineering bV , based in Zwijndrecht, a provider of dust suppression and dust filter equipment. They work mainly as a supplier of special, unique metal products and small series for the regional industry in southern and western Netherlands and northern Belgium. For this, they manufacture products such as platforms, stairs, bases, tanks, caps and funnels (stainless) steel and aluminum.
