About company

The company was founded in 2009 as Valevia in Switzerland to develop antibacterial medications. AVX13616 (now VAL301) was licensed from the Australian drug development company Avexa . Subsequently, the company headquarters were moved to the UK in 2012 and was renamed Valevia UK. Valevia’s lead project is supported by a TSB feasibility grant, which was awarded in 2013.
