Uwave is an online noticeboard just for UK students. Students can buy, sell, trade textbooks, find housing, housemates & jobs within their University community. Job and housing providers can post ads to students and can select each university to target. Launched in 2011 as a beta at Oxford Brookes University it had a great reception with over 150 items posted on to the site after just one semester. It was re-developed early 2012 and has expanded to more Universities around the UK. This is one of the most important sites a student will need!
