Sogemed is a French service company, offering hospitals and doctors around the world the first structured and organized offer of second-hand medical equipment. The medical equipment comes from the French facilities for the used range, and directly from the manufacturers, for the reconditioned range (from the medical bed to the scanner). Sogemed has sales in more than 30 countries (export sales exceeding 70%). There are many arguments for the market for second-hand medical devices. Second-hand equipment is stored in the SME's warehouse and then resold to other medical centers generally located abroad. It was founded by Gaël Givre in 2008 and is based in Les Olmes, Rhone-Alpes, France.
