Upteko specializes in developing drone applications for the maritime sector. It builds an autonomous drone system that operates from a charging station either on a vessel or offshore platform and performs tasks for the crew. The drone can be utilized to perform inspections, dock vessels, map oil spills or scout pirate attacks. The company was founded in 2018 by Mads Joergensen, Benjamin Mejnertz, and Sebastian Duus.
