UNFO Med. Ltd. is the developer of the Universal Neonatal Foot Orthotics device, based on expertise in pediatric orthopedy by Dr. Izak Daizade. The device is designed to treat the newborn's metatarsus adductus (MTA), which a club foot problem of significant foot deformation. The new orthotics system is built as the first short foot orthopedic device that is worn below the infant's ankle – providing a far superior, safer, and less stressful solution than serial casting for the treatment of metatarsus adductus, also known as metatarsus varus. The UNFO Med system has recently received an approved patent status in the United States and China, and is patent pending in Brazil, Europe, Canada, Australia, India.
