About company

Japan UAS Industrial Development Association(JUIDA) is actively promoting the utilization and application of rapidly developing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in the commercial sector, and is working toward research and development, research on safety rules, human resource development, and environmental improvements for practical UAS technologies. JUIDA carries out various activities from a non-profit/neutral standpoint for the purpose of contributing to new industry/market creation and healthy promotion and development of UAS. Its President is Dr. Shinji Suzuki, a professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Tokyo University. The association was founded in July 2014 and has approximately 400 members (regular members, supporting members, etc.) as of June of 2016.
