The history of the TTC holding is connected with TTC TELEKOMUNIKACE, sro, whose origins date back to 1953, when the Telecommunications Research Institute (VÚT) was founded. It represented a scientific-research base at that time with the forming telecommunication industry. In the following period, VÚT was incorporated into the Association of Telecommunications Enterprises, TESLA Trust and later TESLA Investment Electronics. In 1989 the independent state enterprise TESLA VUT, sp was established, and in 1991 it expanded its activities to the development and production company TESLA TELEKOMUNIKACE, sp and the introduction of the TTC brand.
