Based in Atlanta, Georgia, TransCardiac Therapeutics was founded in 2003 by Omar Lattouf MD PhD of Emory University in order to develop and pursue commercialization of technologies he invented to enable and enhance minimally invasive cardiac therapies.TransCardiac Therapeutics is developing technologies to facilitate access to specific sites on the inside and outside of the human heart without the need for a large surgical incision in the patient’s chest. These technologies can be used without stopping the patient’s heart and without connecting the patient to a heart lung machine.
