Tradescape.com was founded in 1997 with a basic mission. The founder and CEO, Omar S. Amanat, believed that through innovative technologies and reasonable prices, there were ways to eliminate the gaps in time and information that allowed Wall Street's professionals to stay ahead of private investors. This meant more than putting scrolling stock quotes and news briefs on a computer screen. It meant giving investors the technology to execute trades with greater speed and efficiency.
