Tissot Medical is an ophthalmic device company founded in 2010 by serial medical technology entrepreneur Luc Tissot of the famed Swiss watch-making family. Their initial focus is to introduce an innovative smart contact lens technology to address an unmet need in improving glaucoma screening and management. Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness in the world. It is estimated that 80 million people will suffer from glaucoma by 2020.
