The Transport Infrastructure Investment Company (SCA) SICAR (“TIIC”) is a transport infrastructure investment company, which has been initiated by a group of experienced individuals (the “Management Team”) and supported by Brisa Auto-Estradas de Portugal, a leading Portuguese-based toll road operator with international operations, Millennium BCP, a leading Portuguese financial institution, and La Compagnie Benjamin de Rothschild, a prestigious international Geneva-based financial institution. (the “Sponsors”). TIIC is structured as a closed-ended partnership limited by shares, organized as an investment company in risk capital governed by the Luxembourg law. The Management Team acts independently. TIIC’s final closing was held on April 2010. The investors are several high-profile reputable investors from Europe, in particular from the Iberian Peninsula. TIIC is schedule to have its term 10 years from the final closing date, extendable for an additional 2 year period.
