Three Jars is a mobile application that assists children in managing their finance. The money children earn are deposited into the application in the form of IOUs. Parents can monitor the amount of finance available from other devices. If the children need to spend the money on shopping or online donations, the parents would have to provide approval before the money is deducted from the IOUs. Furthermore, the children can request more IOUs in exchange for performing household chores. Three Jars was launched in 2009 by Anton Simunovic and is based in Connecticut.
