The SisterHood is a worldwide safety net that connects women in the city, finds them a walking partner or a phone call companion. The net helps reduce street harassment and increase women's safety. The technology connects women and makes it possible for them to share their walks in the city with each other or to find a phone call companion. They provide a social platform that welcomes women to take part in a local and worldwide community, that promotes friendships, professional development, collaborations in the city and most importantly women empowerment. The app allows women to feel safer as they walk around the city, increase awareness of street harassment, and also give women the opportunity to meet new friends who live, work and walk around in their neighborhood. The SisterHood was founded in 2018 and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
