The Sales Lion came as a direct result of the economic collapse of 2008. Marcus Sheridan’s swimming pool company was on the brink of going out of business and so in order to save it, he threw himself into what is commonly referred to as “Inbound and Content Marketing.” To make a long story short, these efforts turned River Pools into what is today the most trafficked swimming pool website in the world, garnering over 500,000 visitors a month.
