The Vision Council is a member-driven organization that serves as the global voice for vision care products and services. It represents the manufacturers and suppliers of the optical industry. The organization supports its members through education, advocacy, consumer outreach, strategic relationship building, and industry forums. The Vision Council’s board of directors includes representatives from each of the operating divisions and committees. It was founded in 1940 and is based in Alexandria, V.A.
