L.A. Kitchen is a start-up nonprofit organization committed to using nutritious food as a tool that creatively combats homelessness, empowers at-risk youth, and helps train vulnerable populations for work in the hospitality industry. Founded by renowned nonprofit leader Robert Egger, L.A. Kitchen will build on the established models of his acclaimed creations, DC Central Kitchen and The Campus Kitchens Project, while adding special emphases on fresh produce and Los Angeles’ unique challenges.
