Ten Acre Organics, LLC is an urban farming company based in Austin, TX and was founded in January of 2012. Their ten-acre farm model is designed to mimic a natural ecosystem and employs aquaponic greenhouses (raising fish, veggies, herbs, and salad greens), as well as organic field crops, fruit trees, mushroom production, chickens, bees, and on-site composting. This integrated, diversified approach allows us to grow a wide variety of foods in a way that optimizes resource-use efficiency while creating zero waste.
