Zhejiang Tantech Bamboo Technology Co., Ltd. was established in October 2002. It is a leading high-tech enterprise, specializing in the R&D, manufacturing and sales of bamboo charcoal products for use as EDLC carbon materials, air purification products and charcoal briquettes. The company was founded in the rapidly developing city of Lishui, Zhejiang Province, in Southeast China, which contains one of China's largest areas of bamboo forestland. The company possesses two large factories in Lishui, one located in Tianning Industrial District, with a total land area of 4.13 acres as well as a new 9.67 acre land area factory in Shuige industrial district.
