Tan Delta Microwaves is to provide quality information about microwave chemistry and microwave processing. We provide customers with help, support, advice and equipment for the development of microwave chemical or physical processing. After over a decade and a half in academic research, at both the University of Oxford and the University of Edinburgh, Dr. Gavin Whittaker founded Tan Delta Microwaves Limited. He has published numerous novel and groundbreaking papers and serves on the technical committees of several international scientific organisation. Our experience of microwave chemistry is based upon sound fundamental knowledge, understanding and experience of the microwave heating process. We have never relied on the ‘black-box’ approach, where a sample is heated in a laboratory oven with no thought is given to what is actually going on. Our advice is based on the customer’s samples and processing requirements, not on a standard product that we find easiest to sell, but which may not meet their needs.
