Harmony develops and markets an approach for electrical vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The approach addresses two fatal flaws of existing designs: inefficiency and noise. It proposes a flying prototype that demonstrates its patented design is on track to realize a 2X improvement in efficiency and an 80% reduction in noise compared to existing eVTOL designs. The Harmony design is compatible with UAS missions, including package delivery, surveillance, and surveying. The expertise of its team includes computational fluid dynamics, acoustics, dynamics/control, and experimental prototype testing, all in the application to rotorcraft. The company was founded in College Station, Texas in 2018.
