Taha International has developed a process which processes dross from aluminium production and turns it into useful and saleable industrial chemicals, such as fertilizer and ATH, a flame retardant used in paints and other surface treatments. Taha's process is unique and solves a big problem for the aluminium industry as it recovers metallic aluminium from dross without the use of salt. As a result, the end product is pure aluminium oxide, which can readily serve as feedstock for further conversion.
