About company

The Transatlantic Consumer Dialogue is a forum of U.S. and European consumer organizations that develop and agree on joint consumer policy recommendations to the U.S. government and European Union to promote the consumer interest in policy making. TACD currently has policy committees that look at: intellectual property, information society, climate change, food, financial services, and nanotechnologies. It is currently funded by grants from the European Union and the Open Society Foundations. The Transatlantic Consumer Dialogue was founded in 1998.
