Its product, REPEL-CV Bioresorbable Adhesion Barrier (REPEL-CV), is a bioresorbable film designed to be placed over the surface of the heart at the conclusion of cardiac surgery to reduce the formation of post-operative adhesions. In March 2009, the Company obtained clearance from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for selling REPEL-CV domestically.
