Syntensity is building an open source platform for multiplayer 3D games and virtual worlds that focuses on user generated content. All of the games on Syntensity can be modified and improved upon by all of the players - making this possible, and as easy as possible, is Syntensity's main goal and differentiating factor. The idea is to create the tools and environment for an enthusiastic community to build a vast world of games. That abundance and variety will attract a very large audience of players, leading to revenue through a freemium business model.
