It manufactures apparel from fabrics that are made from recycled materials, produced from post-consumer plastic bottles, recycled cotton, and post-industrial textile waste. The company markets its products through its store, as well as online. SustainU was incorporated in 2009 and is based in Morgantown, West Virginia. It has manufacturing facilities in North and South Carolina and Tennessee.
