Specialty Surgical Centers was founded in 1999 by Dr. Andrew Brooks in an effort to merge a hospitality with a healthcare experience. The company grew from one location to 6 locations in Southern California with 165 partner physicians over the next 6 years. The company was sold to Symbion in 2005 and Dr. Brooks has continued in an active management in one of their key locations. The company was co-managed by Mr. Randir Tuli from 1999-2005.
