Growing up in a Nigerian family, their tiny East London council flat was always crammed with people coming together to share in life, laughter and food. In Nigeria this is known as Sunmo. And it was in my mum’s kitchen experimenting with Plantains that I first created these delicious snacks. Over the years as the recipes developed, so did my own personal mantra - Eat Good, Feel Good and Do Good. So at Sunmo they are dedicated to giving back to those that need it most and every pack you buy provides a meal for an orphaned child in Nigeria.
