Sun Edge develops and offers a concentrator technology which focuses the power of the sun to 4x the intensity of standard solar products. Its systems are designed to use 1/4th as much photovoltaic material to deliver the same power output as non-concentrated systems. The Sun Edge RCA (rooftop concentrator array) can be mounted at-pitch on typical residential roofs or angled on a frame for flat commercial roofs. Each array is approximately one square meter, consists of 11 tubes, and produces approximately 70 watts. Sun Edge was founded in 2006 by David Argentar and is based in Bear, Delaware.
