Sulantra strives to make online language learning practical, universally accessible and enjoyable. This site enables users to develop basic foreign language skills in a limited amount of time. The classroom version, which this site is based upon, has been tested with 14 languages over a period of 30 years. The focus is practical, not academic. The user interface is simple in order to reach a broad base of users. A conscious effort has been made to address the "digital divide", including free access.
