About company
It all started at the beginning of the 1990s, when a couple of students at the Technical University of Budapest began brainstorming over alternative possibilities of bicycle drives. As it usually happens, ideas and project work gave birth to even more ideas. In the course of a university practice session bicycles came up as a topic, and the students agreed that they were one of the most efficient means of transport in the world, apart from the technical and practical issues relating to them. The main problems proved to be the chain becoming loose with time, geometric ageing, efficiency impairing due to dirt, and of course the vulnerability of the drive. The team eventually came up with an idea to put an end to all these “difficulties”.
