Strange Telemetry is a research company and consultancy. They explore and illuminate the contexts in which technologies are imagined, built, used, and controlled. As individuals, they’ve worked across design, ethnography, economics, policy, and strategy. Together, they run custom research projects, helping people understand and intervene in complex sociotechnical systems. Supporting their research and design work, they talk, teach, and run events and workshops. Strange Telemetry is a workers’ co-operative. Owned and managed by their members, they aim to work in a way that preserves their autonomy and independence.
