SpotCues is the first location-based social network that connects people and apps based on a person’s present context. SpotCues uses Wi-Fi or geofencing to create a social network for any location. People gathered at that location can join the network in real-time and interact with others around. They can also access relevant apps specific to that location. At launch SpotCues is targeting enterprises for team building activities and connecting all employees through their smart phones. SpotCues plans to expand into organized communities such as sports venues, residential apartments, shopping centers and colleges in the coming months.
