SponsorSelect was developed by AWS Convergence Technologies and initially used to monetize their WeatherBug desktop application. The SponsorSelect business unit was created in 2007 to validate the model outside the company across several content verticals such as online games, news, entertainment, video and Internet connectivity. In 2009 the business was spun-out to create SponsorSelect Inc. They are passionate about what they do and as a pioneer in on-demand advertising they have a unique insight into what works for advertisers, publishers and consumers. And they continue working each day to improve the user experience and the overall effectiveness of advertising.
