Sperretkonto is the lock account is a guarantee issued to the homeowner pursuant to Section 3-6 of the Rent Act, where the lessee inserts a corresponding amount on a legal client's client account. The tenant has the certainty that the amount is kept safe by an independent third party, while the lessor is assured of the lease and at the same time can be confident of the tenant's finances.
