Spero Biopharma was founded by Prof. Marta Weinstock-Rosin, a world-renowned researcher of Alzheimer's disease. Prof. Weinstock-Rosin is the inventor of Exelon®, a blockbuster drug for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, and a professor emeritus at the Hebrew University’s School of Pharmacy-Institute for Drug Research in the Faculty of Medicine.
