SpeedScript is a newly developed, universally usable text input system for PDAs, smart phones and tablet PCs of all types. SpeedScript was designed specifically for portable devices, and enables users to write more quickly than with a ten-finger keyboard. SpeedScript is radically different from other input systems currently available. These systems were borrowed from typewriters, desktop PCs and notepads and simply shrunk down to size – with the result that they prevent you from getting the most out of your mobile assistant because text input is so slow and fiddly.
