The site imports users’ common likes and musical taste information from social networks such as Facebook, Last.fm, and Tumblr. Speakr.fm was launched by Luís Eduardo Brito, Vitor Siqueira, and Carolina Stein in May 2012 and is operated from São Paulo, Brazil.
