Sparkplug is a community marketplace that allows musicians to share their instruments, gear, and space with each other. Musicians can search for rentals by type, brand, and location; make reservation requests; collect the items; and return them back after usage. The site contains listings of guitars, rehearsal rooms, mics, amps, harps, studios, and more. Sparkplug was launched by Julia Wilde, Charles Ridley, Jennifer Newman Sharpe, and Jonathan Eshak.
