SOSReady is the maker and distributor of the SOSCharger and an eCommerce retailer of emergency preparedness products. SOSReady was founded by Brian Legge in 2004. The company focused on the importation and distribution of self-powered consumer products like flashlights and mobile phone chargers. In March 2013, SOSReady introduced the new SOSCharger for Smartphones and iPhone on Kickstarter.com. This new model is an entirely new design "utilizing everything learned from years of selling self-powered chargers." With 22-days remaining at the time of this writing, the new SOS Charger has experienced 266% of its funding goal. Mashable, CNet and iMore.com have all covered the product.
